[Montgomery, Ala.] – On Thursday, Dec. 4, the United States Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force requested the assistance of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) Tactical Team when an armed suspect barricaded himself in the crawl space beneath a home in Selma.
Using negotiation tactics, the ALEA Tactical Team was able to apprehend the suspect, Patrick Orlanda Freeman, without incident or injury. Freeman, 34, of Selma is currently be held in the Dallas County Jail on one count of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance with additional charges pending.
