ADECA Surplus Property warehouses remain open for qualified groups
MONTGOMERY— The Surplus Property Division of the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs remains open for government, nonprofit, and other qualified agencies at its warehouses in Montgomery and Eva.

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) mandatory protocols, the division is operating with limited on-site staff and practicing the six-foot social distancing guideline, so donees wishing to examine or pick up surplus property should call first. That number is (334) 284-0577 for the Montgomery warehouse, or (256) 796-4434 for the Eva warehouse in Morgan County.

Please note that this is not for public auctions, as those are still conducted online multiple times a year. The limited hours are for registered organizations that are allowed to obtain surplus property year-round.
